Course Description
The Short Course in Gastrointestinal Tract Sonography is designed to equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge and technical skills required for ultrasound evaluation of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. Participants will learn about sonographic anatomy, normal and abnormal findings, and diagnostic techniques for conditions such as bowel obstruction, appendicitis, inflammatory bowel disease, and tumors. The course emphasizes hands-on training to enhance image acquisition, interpretation, and clinical correlation. Graduates will be able to perform GI tract ultrasound with confidence in various clinical settings.
The main objectives of this program are to:
