Course Description
The Basic Obstetric Ultrasound course provides fundamental knowledge and practical skills required to perform and interpret ultrasound examinations during pregnancy. The course emphasizes routine obstetric scans, assessment of fetal growth and wellbeing, and detection of common abnormalities in early and mid-pregnancy.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
Understand ultrasound physics and safety in obstetric imaging.
Perform standard first-trimester, second-trimester, and third-trimester scans.
Assess gestational age, fetal viability, and number of fetuses.
Identify placental position, amniotic fluid volume, and fetal presentation.
Recognize basic fetal anomalies and growth abnormalities.
